Prayer Room
Prayer Room
Sunday, April 24, the new prayer room was consecrated/dedicated as a room set apart for healing and wholeness prayers; no mater what is on the heart of God’s people, they can find a group called “Prayer Team”, that will pray with them in agreement for God’s intervention to come over the situation, sickness, sorrow, confusion, doubt or hurt in their lives or, for the lives and or, circumstances of others they may be praying for. The prayer team does not give advise, judge or hold any negative viewpoints on anyone who has come to ask others to pray with them. Confiditionality is a must. No one should ever feel what is said will be heard outside the time of prayer. The prayer team continues to lift these people up in prayer in our personal daily private prayers. There are no problems, diseases, or circumstances that can’t be lain down at the feet of the Great Physician. The prayer room was first consecrated and opened over 6 years ago on the first floor. Each team member swore an oath before God and witnesses, and then were consecrated in water and oil for this ministry. The Prayer room is open on the last Sunday of each month between 4 and 5pm. The new entrance is through the welcome center on the first floor. A prayer partner will show you to the elevator and the room is on 2B. Remember: “it is no secret what God can do.”

Dressing & Blessing Clothing

Whew…April has been a truly busy month! Dressings and Blessings celebrated its third birthday! We are growing and seemed to have made a name for ourselves in the community, as a church ministry that will help clothe any who come to us. The ministry is growing but, our workers seem to be dropping like flies! We have found ourselves a bit behind due to sickness, but we are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel for the winter to summer switch! We are thankful for some of our new faces that have shown up to HELP! Thank YOU!
As summer vacation from school is just around the next corner, we wanted to extend an invitation to our youth to come learn the clothing closet. Our young folks have helped us in the past with clothing drives, sorting, folding, shelving or pulling clothing! So if you are looking for a “service” job this summer, consider helping. Talk with Terri, Patsy or Shari to volunteer. Maybe your child wants to give back to God for all the many blessings He’s gifted them with, helping pull clothing is an excellent way to give back. We do feel God’s blessings as we help those that come to us in need.
Men, we need you to clean out those closets and donate some of your gently worn clothing. We are especially in need of men’s shoes; sizes 7 and up. We are also very low on 9 month clothing for our infants, if anyone has or knows of anyone that would like to donate, please remind them we are taking any type of clothing.
