I sit down to write my newsletter each month and always want to begin with…“Where has the time gone!” It seems like we start our day wishing we had just a few more hours to sleep, and we end each day wishing we had more time to get things done. As we lay our heads on our pillows, we regret we didn’t spend more time doing the things that are really important with those who bring us the most joy - our children and families. What if in the next month, as we fill our calendars (paper or online), we intentionally schedule in time to do things with our families. These don’t have to be big trips or full-day outings. We can spend time together doing the things that have to be done and enjoying time together as a family (for example, maybe an afternoon working in the yard and gardens). Imagine the excitement the entire family will feel as flowers begin to bloom and transform your home. Go for a walk or even fold laundry together. I am the worst to try and get everything done on my own hoping to be able to relax and enjoy my family when all the chores are done. Guess what - they are never all done, and I end up spending the day doing chores and not enjoying my family.

Our kids have loved each of our club night gatherings (and so have I)! We have so many new things coming up this spring for kids to explore and do all while learning about God and His love and grace! Be sure to check out our Facebook page for a weekly update on what special event will be happening on Sunday nights at 4:30PM. If you would like to present a gift, skill or talent, be sure to reach out and let me know. Thank you for your continued prayers for this amazing ministry and the children we have the opportunity to grow with!

More Hope,
