"First Resurrection Appearance"
In the continued effort to grow and offer additional services and ammenities to our membership and community, our Church expands and improves in different ways throughout the year. In recent years, we have added a new wing to our Church, renovated and expanded our Sunday School classrooms, built a playground and most recently replaed the flooring in our Fellowship Hall.
Throughout the year, and through a number of channels, the Forward In Faith committee is responsible for creating events and fundraising opportunities that will result in raising necessary funds to help to offset expenses incurred in our Church's building projects.
Following are some of the new and ongoing events organized and managed by the Forward In Faith committee:

"Can Do"
Church members are given a can that they take home and place their spare change inside during the month. On the last Sunday of each month, members bring in their full cans and take home an
empty one for the next month. It's amazing how much spare change we accumulate and how much good those nickels, dimes, and pennies "Can Do" for our Church. (We also see a number of quarters, dollars, and checks in these cans too). Thank you people of Roberta Church for your generosity.
"Can in Each Hand"
On the 4th Sunday of the month, bring your can with your spare change, and in your other hand, please remember to bring a can of non-perishable food for the needy in Cabarrus County. All this food goes to Cooperative Christian Ministry to help those in our area who are in need.
