Dear Youth and Families,

We are excited to transition back to one service going into April! We anticipate nothing but cooperation and understanding on everyone's part to make sure we all remain safe and continue to respect all those who may feel more vulnerable than others. Youth have been working hard in preparation for our Easter Program, The Tale of the Three Trees, to be held Sunday, March 28th. I am so proud of everyone who was able to help and be a part of this special performance. Pictures of this program should be available in next month's newsletter.

We've officially started monthly youth outings, in addition to our normal schedule. In February, we met at Stars and Strikes Family Entertainment Center for bowling and games. We had an awesome turnout of about 14 youth and adults! You can find those pictures included below. For March, we plan to meet at The Speedpark at Concord Mills for some go-kart racing and miniature golf. This has allowed not just youth and mentors to spend extra time together outside of the church, but also parents and family members to join in, as well, and break free from our normal routines to just be together and share some fun memories.

Easter is the time to remember the sacrifice made by Christ and his unconditional love. Let us follow the right path shown by the Son of God. I wish you all the blessings of Christ, and may you be surrounded with the joy and laughter of your near and dear ones this Easter.

Thank you, and all my love,

We shall exist to SHARE the Good News of Jesus Christ with each other, as well as those in our community, nation, and world through our words and actions.

We shall exist to SURROUND our youth with opportunities for spiritual growth, safe learning environments, and Biblical Truths.

We shall exist to SEND ourselves to those who are hurting, or have lost their way; to those who may not know Christ; and to those who are weary, worn, and weak.

Youth Ministries at Roberta UMC offers 6th through 12th graders opportunities to share, surround, and send through…

  • Radical hospitality

  • Intentional faith development

  • Meaningful relationships

  • Fellowship and fun

  • Variety of service and mission opportunities
